Ember continued to fight with the fish on the end of her line and suddenly it felt like it got away and she stopped until a few seconds later, a sudden jerk and a loud splash eachoed through the air. Ember had pulled a dissapearing act and taken swimming lessons at the same time...

Link watched to clueless woman fall in to the water and contained his laughter.
"Let go, Ember! I'd rather lose the rod than you!"
Then he dived in after her.

Ember made it to the surface, coughing after swallowing a large mouthful of water, swimming with a pair of 14 foot wings is not an easy task. It was official...fishing wasn't her thing. She swam towards Link, despite looking a little awkward, her wings dragged her down a little bit.
"Sorry about that, maybe I shouldn't fish in the future."
She was now going very red, feeling like a complete fool for managing to fall into the pond.

Link smiled warmly to comfort her in her moment of embaressment.
"Hey, it was your first time. Something was bound to go wrong. . . Although I didn't wish for it."
Link swam back with her to the boat. Link first hopped in and reached out for Ember to grab and pull her in.
He tried to search for a towel but only found a hand towel.
"Want one?" Link asked reaching to her with the small towel. ;D

Ember was hauled into the boat and took the towel gratefully from Link, she spread out her soaking, ebony wings so they could dry out in the afternoon sun. She wasn't generally a klutz, Ember just fared better on land or in the air than on water.
"Thanks...I'm not normally so clumsy but I'm still getting used to these wi-"
She cut herself off just in time and looked away from Link.

Link wanted to ask, but maybe she cut herself off for a reason. He gathered his paddles and paddled back to shore.
"We should head back. Epona's probably getting hungry."
Then an awkward silence filled the air as his paddles pushed through the crystal clear water.
"You wanna meet her?"

"Who's Epona?"
Ember wasn't sure who Link was talking about and cursed herself for the awkward atmosphere, if she could have just kept her mouth shut...
"Sure, I'd like to meet her."
She didn't know that she and Epona had already met...she landed in the poor horse's hay.

"Great!. . . But you don't have any problem with horses, do you?"
Link barely knew his new friend and didn't want to make anything awkward for her.

"No, I like animals."
Ember smiled, she seemed to get on better with animals than she did with most people! As they reached the shore Ember stood slightly unsteadily but was glad to be back on dry land...no more fishing for this Dreamscaper!
"Where is she?"

Link led her to an open area while pulling out his Ocarina.
"She lives in Lon Lon Ranch. Malon owns that Ranch, but she lets me keep her there. But we are not going to walk all the way there to see her, she could use a nice and run."
He played Epona's Song on the Ocarina. The beautiful song echoed in the hills and plains of Hryule and soon enough, a whiny was heard in the distance.

Ember closed her eyes and let the music wash over her, the notes reminded her of the wind over the hills...like freedom. She squinted and saw a familiar russet mare coming towards them.
"I know that horse!"
She exclaimed in surprise, Ember had landed in the poor animal's hay!

Epona grew excited to see Link's new friend, although Link had no idea why.
"You know Epona?"
He began to scratch the back of his head.
