It was a dark cold night, and she traveled on foot for the most hours of they day. Hunger struck her occasionaly. Tiredness, occasionally. It didn't bother her. She taught herself to block away her feelings and emotions for years. It worked, most of the time. She hated those surprise moments when she found herself wiping a tear away, or when she showed weakness.
But she finally made it. Her sources told her just through these woods and she would make it to Hyrule Field, then the Castle in no time.
Her goal: To gain power of the triforce. She would use its power to bring justice to the warlord that killed her family. Or maybe she could use it...to bring back the dead?
She kept walking, ignoring the pain in her legs and feet. The wind blew and slightly lifted her light brown hair. Her eyes, twinkled from the moon's light with determination and anger. It wasn't until she heard a footstep from behind her, that she stopped in her steps and grabbed one of her sais, and quickly turned around, pointing the sharp weapon at her intruder's neck. The weapon glinted in the moonlight, and Lydia glared at her follower with anger.

[OOC: 3rd person POV I assume?]
Kafei walked through the forest alone and disoriented. His mind was still filled with misty confusion. He barely knew who he was, much less where. The trees seemed to loom out over him, blocking the rest of the world from view.
'Am I claustrophobic?' he wondered to himself as he walked along the path. 'Have I ever been to this forest before? Have I ever seen a forest before?'
He was tired of playing these mind games with himself. He didn't have any answers to who he was or why he'd lost so much of his memory. Now was not the time to stew in self pity. He had to seek answers elsewhere, in other people.
Kafei's thoughts were interrupted by a figure beyond the trees. It was difficult to see the person clearly in the moonlight, so he approached cautiously. Once he was on the path behind, he appeared to be a girl, lost in her own thoughts as well. Kafei could sense that she was troubled with something from the way she walked.
"Perhaps she too is lost or just lonely," he whispered to himself. "It is late out, and I'll bet she feels uneasy walking through this forest alone. I should at least introduce myself. There's no harm in that."
He treaded softly so as not to startle her. He was just about to clear his throat when she whirled around and pointed a weapon with three prongs at his throat. The metal of the weapon glinted, and Kafei swallowed hard.
"I...thought you might want some company on this late night, but I can see I was mistaken," he said nervously.

[OOC: Yea, sorry about that. ]
The song of the Sacret Forest played in a soft melody as Lydia recognized the nervous and shaky tone of his voice immediatly, and she smiled to herself. She was glad she could strike some fear into others. It made her seem strong...independant...relentless.
"I travel alone..." She said plainly. She raised an eyebrow at the different clothing he wore from herself. She let the weapon linger at his neck for a minute, as if for dramatic effect and then slowly lowered it.

[OOC: It's ok. I just wanted to make sure.]
Kafei breathed a long sight of relief as she lowered her weapon. He wasn't used to having weapons pointed at him. Or maybe he was, and he just couldn't remember.
"Well...I can certainly see that you are...capable of taking care of yourself," he said carefully. He didn't really feel like offending this woman again. Part of him wanted to edge away and leave, but he was very lost and didn't see much chance of finding another person in this forest. "So...um...where are you going that takes you through this lovely forest at night?"

"That's not your concern..." Lydia turned around and began to walk. Her eyes wandered as she tried not to show that really...she had no idea how to get out of the stupid forest.
She would tell no one of her plan. No one needed to know. If anyone should try and stop her, she would take care of them by force, yet something inside grew weary of the battles she fought. Sometimes, she found herself battling her inner demons on whether to go ahead and disable someone...or to just let them live.
The sound of his voice brought her back to reality and she stopped in her tracks to listen. Wait...why was she listening in the first place? She didn't care what this boy had to say...did she?

"Oh. Um...sorry." Kafei waited for a moment or two as she turned and began to walk away. He looked around at the forest. It was calm and peaceful, and the song it played was rather lovely too. But he had no idea how to get out.
Swallowing his fears, he began to walk behind the girl. Even if she wanted nothing to do with him, she could still lead him out right? He would keep his distance from her just to make sure. That sai of hers looked dangerous. Kafei had no desire to know if it actually hurt when you were stabbed with it.
"She must not know me," Kafei said quietly to himself. "If she did know me, she wouldn't have threatened me. Or maybe I did something bad to her in the past? No no, then she would have killed me. Besides, I don't think I was a bad person. I don't have any desire to hurt someone, so I must be good."

It was then Lydia realized that she was going to be followed. Smirking, she decided to play along, and hopefully he would loose her in the long run.
Listening carefully, she realized that in only certain parts of the forest, the music would get louder, and more clear.
Forgetting that she was being followed, she followed the music's melody.
